- ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆Bus driver clipped my back bumper yesterday, he didn't stop but I was able to get bus number. Safety Mgr claims the bus is surrounded with cameras and they saw no sign of the bus touching my car. I didn't call police since the damage was so minor (only a scratch), i think its very crappy that they would take no responsibility for what they did, I ask them to share the tapes with me and they refused.By Jeff Steed, June 23, 2017
- ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆Called to file a complaint against an unsafe driver. The first time I was told I needed to speak with the safety manager. Cool. Got the voicemail. Called back to see if I could actually catch the safety manager instead of her voicemail. Was told this time that she could actually take the complaint...oh wait..nope supervisor says it would be best if I talked to the safety manager. The employee continued to say she could take the complaint but it would be best to talk to the safety manager. When I stated I wanted to leave my complaint with her she said I would be better of reporting it to the safety manager. Got the voicemail again. I've worked in customer service a long time and turning away calls is horrible for business. People get fired over that. IF YOU ARE SOMEONE WHO TAKES COMPLAINTS, THEN TAKE THE COMPLAINT. ESPECIALLY IS SOMEONE SAYS THEY ALREADY TRIED WITH THE UNAVAILABLE SAFETY MANAGER. All the while, this unsafe driver is still on the road.By Amanda Ewing, March 03, 2017
- ★ ★ ★ ★ ☆Express route 101 is a reliable service, particularly in the mornings. The afternoon buses leaving town are generally a few minutes late. On occasion, prompting the loss of a star, the bus is an hour or more late. It is very aggravating to stand on a sidewalk for over an hour with several other GCT buses passing. It seems GCT has no flexibilty or a contingency plan to handle massive delays on a specific route. I stood on a downtown sidewalk for an hour today with 4 Sugarloaf Mills passing me. It seems reasonable to reroute one to pick up 101 riders if the 101 is severely delayed. This type of delay is infrequent but that does little to mitigate the aggravation when it happens.By Andrew Bunyasaranand, December 23, 2016
